  1. well i have a newly rebuit 1700 WO type 4 sat on the garage floor and as winter is aproaching and the current 944 rear disc brakes are nearly done i fancy sticking a blower on the old girl .. Im petty good with all the fabrication stuff and my thought was mount an eaton blower and pipe it to the twin dells . Has this been done and does anyone have any decent links Obviously its not quite as simple as that as the carbs will need to be modified and pulleys made up but is it doable ?

  2. it's do-able dude... been done a couple of times... last one I saw was on porsche cooling though!!

  3. I have a friend who put a blower on his MGB. Perfectly doable, but a lot of work.

  4. A blower generates a lot of heat in the engine bay and also heats up the charge going ito the engine, which may not be very good for an air cooled engine. You will need to seriously think about how to keep things cool.
