Think I'd swap my warm bus and put up with the cold and still be smiling big style with a nice scoobie in the back but a propex as well is just greedy.
Mine's fine - I guess @Baysearcher genteel disposition is less tolerant. if is a sensitive soul after all....
i thought the fan a tad noisy in yours though maybe they run a stat that's a bit low on the opening side to help with engine cooling, this would make the heater a bit poo.
I guess compared to zero noise in other vans you are right....mine still has no sound deadening either.
I did think the heater matrix used by fellows in particular looked a bit small to be honest and although its neat and "hole free" it would be better inside (even noisier though I suppose
Yep J is a top bloke and he was never too busy to answer my continual silly questions prior to the install. If anyone is thinking of going scooby then consider using him coz I would definitely recommend him, it's just a swine to get to from my neck of the woods.
Yep I've probably thanked him a hundred times already but Gylnn is a diamond , helped me out of a real hole more than people know. High five to @Top Banana Racing
It's even further if you have to start 90 mins earlier to get to your house 1st! I tell you now, if I get to sell some of these SA buses (instead of Mrs TBR keeping them all) I'm gonna have J do me a scooby, AND YOU'RE DRIVING!
Me too Bern, having put my 1910cc into Ted ('cos Mrs TBR won't let me sell him) I now have a gap in the Doka, I want to build a 2.4 litre Type 4 but Spring is nearly here so that won't happen until next November! I have a rebuilt 6 rib long box doing nowt, a Doka with no engine in it but most of the welding done, the odds are stacking up! Just gotta find a few ££££££'s.
Chris, Those pictures should come with a warning, Pass the tissues Looks Brilliant mate, I'm really pleased you've got it all in and sorted. Now, Bring it over this way, and bring a box of Kleenex with ya
