No. This is a popular misconception. The head of the Catholic Church isn’t called The Pope. Pope comes from the Greek for Father. The person you are referring to is The Bishop of Rome. The head of the Coptic church is called Pope and he definitely isn’t a catholic. guess who had a catholic education and watches too much QI.
You forgot to mention that the Vatican city is .47 klm 2 which is exactly 100 times smaller than East Grinstead , spooky or what
Baz have you bee Have you been starting and stopping the van a lot ...or several very short journeys . If your motor happens to use a bit ...the oil might collect in the exhaust and burn out when you get it real warm ...just a thought my old Foden certainly did that .
That is a thought, the furthest I drive is to the lake about 10miles each way 2 or 3 times a week, then just around town
The wonders of the "regular warmup" in the garage is it takes the engine repeatedly through the region of maximum wear, as would using it a lot on short journeys. Result relatively faster wear on piston rings and valve guides leading to oil in the exhaust... It may well be valve guides if you thrash it then slow down the 3/4 cylinder head is meant to fill up with oil at high RPM as the crank throws the oil to the left. Best to take that bus in the garage for a spirited drive so it warms up quickly rather than sitting cold idling...Go the long way round via Brighton from East Grinstead... I did once watch a splittie lapping Brands at its top speed (Heritage 30th anniversary day) . Each lap the oil haze from the exhaust was more and more noticeable..
