I think you should go for it.

Obviously you'd need to do lots and lots of research and make sure your cash flow plan is sustainable. Most new companies that go bust go bust with full order books but not enough cash on hand.

Hire, or borrow a teenager to look after the social media advertising for you, it's free and it's easily targeted to the customers you want, rich but busy VW owners for the long term jobs and smaller, local, one day jobs for cash flow.

Best of luck and I'd certainly bring my bus to you if it needs work.

I've just come back from dropping my bus st VWorks in Penshusrst, near Sevenoks. Sam Jeffrey, the owner, started small about four years ago and is now totally rushed off his feet. Moved to bigger premises and has hired someone else. A great little business. Why not just ring him up and ask him how he got started? He's a friendly guy...
