Did vw do an aircooled ark at all lol When all that snow melts on the highground it has to go somewhere and the grounds allready saturated
Been there. It wasn't so long ago almost everyone lived like that. I certainly did as a child and we weren't poor. When I first moved over here we lived in a house where you couldn't wash up between November and March as everything was frozen in the sink. We had one gas fire in the whole house for heating. The cat caught fire trying to get warm enough. That's East Anglia - it doesn't only get cold in Yorkshire.
My cunning plan is working. We had nearly a foot of snow last weekend in Derby so I had to stick the winter tyres / wheels back on my car. I decided to leave them on for our trip to Cornwall to see Linda's folks and hey presto it has turned out nice and sunny but cold and very windy. Bought a kite today and took it to Harlyn Bay and hey presto, no wind, sunny and warm-ish (10oC). My thinking is that as long as I leave the winter wheels on, pack a kite and a waterproof jacket we ought to be in for a lovely April.
It starts today as we have just taken the van off of sorn and retaxed it for six months Now where's that beach........................................
Yep , bright/blue sky in Essex today , got plenty done on my project Bug - but I have to say it was still cold due to the NE wind , bodes well for Elemental this Saturday -fingers crossed .
