Some of you know that the house we rent was being considerd to be sold The estate agents have give us no formal notice of eviction and have told us not to worry about looking for a new place just yet We had a a freind drop by tonight concerned because our house is up for sale in the local paper Can you please all keep your fingers crossed for us that we find a new suitable place we can afford locally Ive moved from place to place all of my adult life and im getting very down at the prospect of having to pack up and move again
Fingers crossed, hope it works out for you.... I presume your not in a position to try to buy the place?
Cheers everyone I know it sounds daft but this has really rocked my boat I wish i was back in malham even malcom was better than this
It is difficult when you rent. Try and look at it as a positive - ie getting something that fits your requirements a little better. I would haave a look round and see whats out there. I believe tennants have rights and no idea what length of time your notice to quit is but its not going to happen overnight and it may well be an investor that buys rather than someone wanting to move in. Pos vibes chap!
I was renting as well ,the landlord said more or less forever ,one christmas he came and said he was selling... : One thing good Para, no normal person is going to want to live where you live... ;D
Yer screwed, Dude. Even if the next owner keeps you on, you know he's gonna raise the rent. Maybe you can buy ugly cars, roller paint them and flip them for a profit until you raise enough for a down payment on your own place. Find a duplex and get your own renter to pay all your bills for a change.
sell everything and live in the camper. I love the thought of it but it wouldnt work for long. most landlords are bastards, but as the old saying goes, always look after number 1. Theres always somewhere for similar price, just maybe not as good as youve had it up til now, but a home is a home. Hope all goes well, and chin up cos in a years time youll be laughing about it probably. P
that sucks buddy, at least they're going to have to sell it as occupied. they have to give you notice, they can't just kick you out it's the law. the fact that the house has tennants will be a big put off for most buyers! if in doubt talk to CAB, they will tell you exactly what your rights are. good vibes coming your way buddy
