Social distancing in a camper - did we do the right thing?

  2. From this day forward the ‘R’ number will now be known as the ‘Paul’ number. Super spreader, shame on you.

Let’s face it, you should have left them to die. You’ve exposed your family to an unacceptable risk and as such id expect Matt Hancock to personally phone you tonight using the Track & Trace system and order you and your family to isolate until Christmas and possibly strip your Bay for parts.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they shoot the old couple if they can find them.

  3. If Matt Hand cock rings me tonight, he will get told to concentrate his efforts on a proper track and trace system and upping the capacity of tests now and building shed loads of capacity for Christmas, so we can see our families! There would also be a bit of swearing I reckon.

I've politicised my own thread now!

You are a good man Mr Calf :).

Are you sure they weren’t Govt plants and secretly recording you? Will we next see you on the front page of the Daily Mail being vilified for poor virus behaviour and to completely to blame when the public turn against old camper van owners, instead of cheery waves as we drive by we will be met by shaking heads and fists!! Dominic and Boris will be doing fist bumps :) (factual not political;) )

I expect the paparazzi will now hound you and take a photo of you as you drive past that ‘Spearmint Rhino’ place in your camper.......again.

  9. I thought that this was going to be one of those ghost stories - so that when you got home you read that a couple had drowned in the reservoir that day the year before.

  10. ......and i turned round to ask them if they wanted a can of Top Deck from the fridge and they were gone...........

  11. Doesn’t everyone have google maps on their phone to locate their car

I have an app that warns me if I’ve left it unlocked, location and basically the complete status

  12. How does it know if you've left it unlocked?

  13. Funny you should say that.
We took a photo of them on the back seat, but when I looked later I'd only got a picture of an empty back seat

It’s a nice thing to do for them.

Reassuring that they’ll get behind the wheel and pose no danger to themselves or anyone else when collectively they can’t remember crossing a reservoir or not, but will soldier on as they don’t want to be a bother.

It’s this spirit that got us through Dunkirk and enables old boys to drive down the wrong side of motorways. Makes you proud.

This shouldn’t diminish your kind gesture though.
