  2. In south of France watching le tour, stinking hot by a road side and no shade anywhere. Baby Isla decides its booby time but its just too hot. Hang on there's a Norbert dentrarsemangle wagon parked up with the driver sitting at the side. Off goes @MrsVolkswombat to ask if she can sit in his cool shaded cab and get her wallops out to feed Isla. Now maybe it was the language barrier or the indecipherable hand gestures with boobs that he didn't understand but he did not want breastfeeding in his cab.
Many truck drivers are gay though.

Old school comment  it's really starting to wear thin stuff like this from you old lefties, it's time to get with it again, things have changed and you're slipping behind the times ;)

  11. if I'm totally honest, I like the fact that Farage speaks his mind publicly...it makes for a healthier debate......and whilst what he says may resonate with a lot of folk, I don't agree with his politics...he's a product of the times.....like Oswald Moseley.....just not as eloquent or charismatic

  14. Not really.....when people get tired of the same old sh*te trotted out by politicians (of whatever persuasion), it's inevitable that someone who can hold their own publicly will come along and tap into some common grievances...it's how you profess to deal with these grievances that gains or loses your support. I personally think that UKIP use 'scapegoat' tactics to garner support, and some of their policies are ill conceived. just my opinion.
The current political set-up in the UK is b*llocks.....the fact that Nigel Farage, Boris Johnson and even Russel Brand are all players at the moment tells a tale....it needs reforming

  16. You don't have to be a Leftie to think that Farage is a w*&%^r. He's an old school populist, mixing up Left and Right in a bid to please anyone he thinks might vote for his sad bunch of misfits.

  17. But if both mainstream parties believe they know better and don't want to listen to the electorate at all then UKIP will thrive. Never a clever move to rubbish the potential voters of another Party...it merely displays their arrogance/contempt for the public something they could live to regret if their comfy career in politics comes to a sudden halt because of an election. As for Farage mixing up Left and Right ,why not? Any reason why middle ground should not exist?

  19. The public are disillusioned because living standards are falling. That's a result of living beyond our means as a country over a long period of time, not any particular policy or party. UKIP pretend to have simple solutions (stop immigration, get out of Europe....) which do not address the basic economic problems in this country and are frequently contradictory. They are saying whatever they think will get votes, but if you bother to look at their policies, they are an uncosted mess.

Intolerance can never be described as the middle ground.
