So....Nigel Farage gives breastfeeding advice

Surely it depends on what's deemed acceptable within a particular society/environment...we're not used to seeing overt breast-feeding in the UK. Doesn't offend me in any way, but I can see why some may feel uncomfortable about it....

 

Thing is, very few people say they feel uncomfortable with t*ts on page 3, some do certainly, but the great British public ? They don't seem to mind. I certainly don't remember Nige campaigning against bare breasts in newspapers. We're used to page 3 aren't we? If more women feel the need to breastfeed in public, and I hope they do just to get up Farage's nose, then we'll become as blasé about it as we are about page 3. But Farage and his ilk, they love to whip up a non story into summat of universal importance because they have so little to say of real substance.

 

The funny thing is, I do feel uncomfortable about t*ts on page three... I've been 'educated' to react to this kind of imagery in a negative way, despite the fact that it appeals to my baser instincts, as it would most heterosexual males (IMO)...

 

I think all women should be encouraged to get their norks out, at any opportunity. Wether for feeding or just a simple airing.

A bloke giving advice on breast feeding is like the Pope giving advice on contraception, if you don't play the game then you can't make the rules.

Having said that, Mr. Farage has considerable experience of doing things in public that may offend people.....
