    I asked my neighbour about this fishing malarky. he said you can't fish on UK rivers between 15th March and 15th June - I was wondering why the spots I used recently were very quiet.

    As for fishing, last time I went 'fishing', my brother and me spent a few hours casting and waiting for bites in Manor Farm Park in Northfield, Birmingham. The Park Ranger turned up and told us that they had only recently refilled the lake with water after some work and they hadn't restocked it with fish :mad: - never been since.

    Absolutely! We'll be stocking up before we come home. We're heading for the Castlerigg stone circle tomorrow, so will call in at Grasmere for some gingerbread too
