    Purposely made sure I didn't get a photo of the actual lorry in case it was really bad. The lorry has knocked over one or two telegraph poles that carried electric - National Grid vehicles were in the field so it must have been a tricky recovery. I was surprised they didn't divert the M18 and the junction below.

    Ive seen the lorry pics, don’t think it was fatal luckily.

    that stretch of motorway is a nightmare most mornings without an accident causing more hassle!

    On walk with daughter and pup this morning came upon this shock of scarlet among all the greenery, Japanese Acer I believe (or Japanese Maple or whatever you call them where you are from…..) I don’t know, these foreign Maples…. They come over here etc….. :rolleyes:

    Yep purple Acer, or Japanese Maple same thing. Tried to grow one in our garden, wind and sun rendered it a ragged twig in a season :(
