Well, it's a great example of Colin Chapman's enterprise, to put it kindly. Get someone else, Jensen to pay for the development of your new engine, then Jensen do a parts bin special with suspension from a mainstream production car, Vauxhall Magnum, a reasonably attractive open sports car, later a Scimitar-like sports estate, and Bob's your mother's brother. Sadly it turned out to be a pleasant boulavardier with the least reliable version of a generally temperamental engine. Oh, and epic rust. One for the brave, and foolhardy.
