    New side door needed old side window taken off old door and put into new door. Never done a bonded window before, but nearly there now. Phew

    Started jacking the caravelle up to remove the front wheel and the jacking point just started crushing up. Its about 10mm out of alignment now. :(

    Had a pick at it and chopped some rot out of the B pillar and the inner reinforcement is toast at the bottom. Straight edge (OK a chunk of cereal box) across the bottom shows how much its pushed up.

    Woke up at midnight, remembered the comet in the northem sky. Took a load of pictures on a DSLR and a couple on the phone.

    Part way through the session , about a hundred yards from our house in the middle of a playing field, I heard a cat calling and it sounded like our outdoor cat, Chen. I called his name and a light shadowy creature came out of the dark and rubbed against my legs.
    He then escorted me home after I packed up the camera gear, like a dog leading the way..
