There is a lot of unnecessary confusion over this jam cream thing ...originally they put jam on one half and cream on the other half ...then you connect them up to which ever way you want .
It was only when someone came down from Somerset who suggested putting both on the one half ...and was quickly told to bugger off back to Taunton and concentrate on making cider .

Had a poke around in the garage and found this ,must be from the 70s

 

Oak clad to some softwood stairs and changed the posts, handrails and spindles
