i would like to have stripes but not in brown as the bus is blue because that would look like poo in the sea . the problem you have is two tone poo and you need solid poo ,thats to say " just one sheet"
Is that the only panel where you have that colour variation? Can't you just feather in a better match there for now? If you intend to do the whole thing in the future it wouldn't have to be perfect...
i'm rapidly digging myself a hole here for another name for the van.....why on earth did vw pick Brown as a celebration colour? the silverfish gets silver, champagne beetles are gold, i get poo, story of my life......
Haha mr hankey the christmas poo. who's gonna be the first to photoshop a santa hat on me van and do a spot the difference?
Apart from the fact that I don't really like the stripes on the sides, why waste any money on these when it won't solve the basic issue? I would say either do the primered areas with a rattle can and feather it in / polish as best you can, or spray all 3 affected panels, either with a can or at a spray shop. The money in painting is all prep - do you know anyone in the business? Do the sanding yourself (and filling if you are really keen, but the panels do look OK) and then just get those 3 panels painted. That won't cost much.
