Service item list

Hi,

Just wondering what parts/oil grade is needed for a full service on a 1600 engine?

Are there any company's to avoid for parts and quality?

Full service:

plugs, leads, cap, rotor, points, condensor, fan belt, rocker cover gaskets, air filter

oil wise I use 15/40, morris as I buy it 25L at a time, but all oils have to conform to EU standards... so any 15/40 really, or 20/50 if you've got a high mileage/worn motor

 

Thank I'll order them up from gsf, I might get the gear linkage bushes too

 

coolio for you bruv, got a multimeter ? , essential(in my opinion) basic knowledge to basic checks(and can save you a serious amount of folding stuff!! ), apologies if you have same!!
