    Oh No - my favourite Bond has gone - and in 1962 I watched the first 007 film after reading many of the books and wasn't too sure it stayed with the novel. But at least it had my favourite Bond girl in it - Ursula Andress.

    Auric Goldfinger couldn’t kill him - “I expect you to die Mr Bond” - but sadly old Father Time caught up with him.

    I liked some of his war films too.

    What a bloke; the best Bond by a long way, and a great actor in general.
    I'll stick on a Bond film tonight in memory - although I feel ITV will probably be getting that sorted too....
