    Thanks.
Whats the point in arguing with you? Several people have pointed out you're wrong, yet you blindly keep spouting the same old crap, and posting links that don't even say what you're preaching.

  2. All those several people have pointed out is that they are blind in denial.

Ah, so they’re all wrong and in denial?

I’ll ask again as you ignored it last time:
Why do you care so much?

  4. its irrelevant you the discussion so I ignored it like many other irrelevant crap in this thread. However unless you want to be passing the misinformation to people who may make financial decisions based on that, then you should care.

my understanding was the 8 point system was brought in when several cases came up involving landrovers with shortened chassis that were badly welded.

Going by the rules a engine change on it own is 1 point so not enough to trigger the inspection and the need for re registration

If you start cutting and welding the chassis and fitting something like the red 9 front set up as well as the engine change you might have to have it inspected and this may lead to requiring re registration

This has nothing to do with the Mot and will only likely to become a issue if you had a bad smash and they are look for defects that may of coursed it

  7. you however do not decide that changing engine does not trigger inspection. you supposed to send V627/1.

Sorry, I’ve tried, I really have; but that makes no sense whatsoever.

It has gone on somewhat. Those that are happy with there scoobies appear to be getting a bashing for something alternative and viable.

    next subject... :D

I'm a big fan of the Scooby conversions and am tempted myself but I also like the other builds whether it be stock or big type 1 / 4 motor. What I cant understand why things gets so personal in debate, its beyond me!

It's funny how personal choice can wind some people up so much.
Most of the "scooby fan boys" barely mention it once the novelty has worn off. Contrary to popular belief, we don't see them as the second coming, n'or slate aircooled. It's just a choice!
It's usually the resident trolls that bang on about them.
    Each to their own imho.
