Lots and LOTS of moose and they are pretty stupid , apparently wandering around aimlessly looking for vehicles to stumble in front of seems to be a bit of moosey type hobby - nearly bagged one a few years ago , scary Marmite ...

just about hitting 6000 miles on day 60 tomorrow I'll get a ferry to Germany!

Scandinavia has been incredible, Norway is the promised land and genuinely one of the most mind-blowingly beautiful places I've visited.


i should definitely have spent more time there.. but the no plan got the better of me and there's no wrong paths right?

I've a hectic schedule of stuff coming up so I'm heading home to sort a tiny bit of normality before having to be professional for a few months.


next year, i fancy Iceland and/or Faroe Islands - or a Mongolian adventure

all i know is this winter is gonna be wild/unpredictable and possibly life changing... this trip has allowed me to venture far and wide...and get the travel/no responsibility out of my system beforehand!

last few days have been a blur... but after 65 days I've headed "home" to do laundry...

7500 miles

27 petrol stops... some where only odd bits to get me to the next town for cheaper fuel..

7 countries

lots of ferries lots of tunnels

6 hitchhikers

1 x flat starter battery
1 x cv joint greased
1 x steering box fluid filled
