Sam's Scandi Flick....

I'll start a thread of my journey....to document my travels from the UK to as far north as i can - The Arctic Circle awaits...


Day 1 - after lots of packing and organising the journey begins....The van wouldn't start, a quick look on the ecu and i have a lack of volts- can only put it down to the interior light over the last week and Rookie error... connected to the solar for an hour.. and all is good.

steady drive to Hull and an overnight to Rotterdam aboard the "Pride of Hull"...

having just come out of a a museum in Bremen...



my fuel filler cap is currently somewhere about 100km away...


a jubilee clip and a magnetic UK sign will have to suffice... tomorrow I'll get to csp in Hamburg

Even colour coordinated tape - I love the keep it on the road fixes in this hobby

today i spent most of it on the autobahn.... ive just got to the Danish border to cross tomorrow.


theres a correlation between my time on the autobahn and mpg...

hahahahahahahah it was more absolutely *******ing myself at the audis coming up behind me, then just flooring it and eventually getting overtook with them laughing/confused.. one cannot confess the speed

Currently in France and was slightly in a rush to get here Friday, the faces are brilliant. Especially when they go to over take and you just floor it.

Went to circuit de Reims Saturday, what a hoot, I shouldn’t but I gave it some between the grandstands.

Spent a lovely afternoon with her.

 

Would be rude to see her and not buy any.




We spent a lovely afternoon in her garden, naturally drinking a bottle of Rosé Champagne and catching up. She (Anne-Wassila) really is a lovely down to earth type of person.
