Yes, but they can't undo what has been done. So as long as it has rolled out far enough to cover you, then they can only freeze it.

 

Will have to dig out the build date for my 1976 BMW bike, see if I can get tax free a year earlier.

No. The cut off date is 1/1/74. Made before that gets tax exempt from April. Made between 2/1/74 and 1/1/75 gets tax free from April 2015

 

i still think it's a back door way to reduce the use of historic vehicles..... few years from now they'll probably ban you from more than 50 miles from home.

 

Good, before the next election so that van is safe, I have a van that is 75, you just know as soon as the Labour get in they will sack it like last time
