As for the NME, I think it died a long, long time ago .... probably in the late 70's.
I was more of a Rolling Stone reader.

 

Got rid of mine after the smell in my bedroom got too bad.

 

Kerrang and Metal Hammer messell. Leather and cut off with Motorhead war pig painted on the back. Royal Signals great coat if it got nippy. As Vivien 's cut off said ' Very Metal.'

 

Rolling Stone seemed to be stuck in a kind of 1970s time-warp...
