  1. Now Sold.....................................

    Hi,

Over the last few months I have been having my Aussie bay sorted to tip top condition.Basically new rear arches where me and the Misses took it in turns to hit gate posts.Did it symetrically though so both had to be done.Whilst we started this I thought we might as well freshen the whole body.Sanded right back to find any other problem areas.Fresh metal where required. As the engine and interior have been done over the past few years.During this time we bought a Jurgens Autovilla '79 Bay,18 months ago.We were going to keep both but have decided over the past two weeks that the Aussie has to go.Here's the detail.

Imported by G'day Kombi's in 2006.We are the first registered UK owners from that time.

  2. Okay.

I am just waiting for the van to come back from the front seats being re upholstered. They weren't as good as we thought they should be.I will take a few more pics of the finished interior once we have it back.Having looked at the prices of G day Kombi's Aussie vans and a couple of others I am open to sensible offers. This van has a complete new engine and interior. All problems that arose from buying a 'rot free' Aussie van have been addressed. There is always rust to be found.Everything that was found to be wrong has been sorted. So whoever buys will get a very well looked after and loved van.

    Thanks for looking. :)

  3. Van should be back from interior chap by the end of this week. Will post all latest photo's then.Body, underneath and inside. Will have full tax and MOT when sold.

  10. Added a few more photo's.Roofline and close ups to show how straight this van is.Including interior with the stowaway table put up.Have been toying with the idea of dropping the brand new engine out and replacing with a 2 litre type 4 with new heads and full service to get the price down.

  11. Added a few new details such as re furbished door locks all around.1 key fits all exterior doors.

    Brand new ignition barrel.

Choice of engines choice of price.

Brand new engine with Dellorto's £16500.
Standard 2l type 4.Refurbed solex with refurbed heads £13500.

Should do it is a really nice van and over the years we have sorted all the bits and bobs that come up.Enjoyed driving it these past few weeks ;D
