Restoration of Project Panther

Bought some Madmatz carpets about a year ago and decided to fit them today. Seem great quality but can't work out how the ones which go around the wheel arch fit into the raised part which I carefully retained



Think I must be missing something obvious, but would appreciate advice on how to fit them

 

They don’t fit into the groove. Just glue them down. The groove is just for stock rubber mats I believe.

I think they just sit on top of it

 

Thanks James & Para, must have spent an hour trying to work it out! Will get the glue out.
