North Lanarkshire ,thought it was near Manchester because postcode started with M ,apparently it's in Scotland...

still 800 to dover...

 

Just after we bought our USA import bus (5 years ago) we were driving near a big ferry port and was followed by a police car for 10 minutes so assumed they were checking out the bus, they would have found all was legal, they just speed past and gave us a smile!

i can get two days car insurance from England ,so taxing it may not be a problem...

I have had some success with the auction snipper sites. Saves getting gazumped - put your max bid down and the software fires your max bid down in the last seconds of the auction.

 

but it takes away all your emotions of grief when you lose and all the feelings that you have stumped your fellow man if you win...

it's cheating...

 

Feels pretty awesome when you drive it away though.

 

I prefer using eBay's own bid escalation but be logged in on a couple of devices with different higher bids pre-loaded on them.
