Remote oil cooler thread sealing

What's the best thing to put on the threads

Does say on the tin can be used for threads.

Of PTFE.

Or other.

 

ptfe is fine... but if you use the correct taper fitting, then you don't need to use any sealer!!

 

Cheers Paul, it's all aeroquip fittings in using, but just want to be on the safe side, I've got enough leeks, don't want too add to them.

 

aeroquip fittings don't leak

it's what I use, and at that cost, I wouldn't use the stuff if it did
