Don't know if its been mentioned yet but there's a fantastic documentary about Harry Nilsson on beebs iPlayer. Its not related to campers as such, but knowing that many camper lovers also love their music, I can't recommend this doc highly enough, especially if like me, your knowledge of this amazingly talented man was pretty slim. Its available til this Saturday, after which you'll probably get it in bits on youtube.. http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b015sqsz/Harry_Nilsson_The_Missing_Beatle/
Well it's running a little late, of course. They finally raised a bit more money for the film than they expected and I think they ran with that money trying to add more to the film at the last minute. Or they're just typical chronologically impaired hippies ripping too many bong tokes in the cutting room. or both. Either way, here is their most recent interview and trailer to keep us all hungrily awaiting the now mysterious release date. http://www.tbd.com/blogs/tbd-on-foot/2011/09/the-iconic-vw-bus-rolls-to-life-in-a-new-documentary-film--12923.html
I told them they should do premier releases at old drive-in theaters across the states so we could all pilgrimage to them and watch the film together in our buses. It would also make great add-on footage for a final cut, during or after the credits.
No mention of the god of documentary, David Attenborough? Just an example....... http://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=youtube+planet+earth+dolphin+hunt&sk=&mid=A180C3ADB85B3CE373C9A180C3ADB85B3CE373C9&FORM=LKVR3#
