Just wondering what the sort of ratio of left hand to right hand drive bays are on here. I have a RHD originally a Devon but with a newer interior.
I’m surprised I thought normally RHD rust badly and you don’t see many for sale Then again there’s quite a few RHD in the for sale section
RHD 73 2.00 litre type 4 originally 16.00 ..The 2.00 ltr was married to a 3 rib not good . Managed to get a decent 6 rib off Brothernumberone .
People in the UK (like me!) restore them because in the wider world RHD are the minority, very difficult to find one in original condition. I've had four RHD and one LHD.I also restored a lot more over the years.
LHD Leisuredrive , imported and converted from a 1975 Dutch postal van in 1978 . Back in the 80s / early 90s left hookers were very rare , I'd say 5 rhd to every lhd but then the 'dry state' imports starting coming over and the balance has certainly shifted . Baring in mind there's the Aussie and SA imports to bolster the rhd count I'd say it's about 50:50 now ?? Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
