Ratio of RHD and LHD bays

Just wondering what the sort of ratio of left hand to right hand drive bays are on here.

I have a RHD originally a Devon but with a newer interior.

 

73 RHD Westy Continental some original int left...

 

RHD Cali conversion with Westfalia interior, Berlin I believe

 

LHD Westy with a modified Helsinki interior. And a 2.3L Type 4 engine.

 

RHD original.

1968 (69 model) lhd Westy original interior

 

LHD '78 Westie Berlin P27..mostly original

 

Looks like it's a 2:1 RHD/LHD ratio so far, which isn't surprising really.

 

LHD 1600 westfalia, californian import. Wow she starts great.

 

I’m surprised I thought normally RHD rust badly and you don’t see many for sale
Then again there’s quite a few RHD in the for sale section

 

All of them rust badly, if they've been over here long enough

 

RHD 73 2.00 litre type 4 originally 16.00 ..The 2.00 ltr was married to a 3 rib not good . Managed to get a decent 6 rib off Brothernumberone .

 

People in the UK (like me!) restore them because in the wider world RHD are the minority, very difficult to find one in original condition. I've had four RHD and one LHD.I also restored a lot more over the years.

 

I’ve got one of each. A LH drive 69 westy and a RH drive 75 Danbury

74 Aussie import 2.0 auto RHD ex surf minibus on the Gold Coast.

 

LHD Leisuredrive , imported and converted from a 1975 Dutch postal van in 1978 .
Back in the 80s / early 90s left hookers were very rare , I'd say 5 rhd to every lhd but then the 'dry state' imports starting coming over and the balance has certainly shifted . Baring in mind there's the Aussie and SA imports to bolster the rhd count I'd say it's about 50:50 now ??
