“I think that much of the advice given to young men about saving money is wrong. I never saved a penny until I was forty years old. I invested in myself – in study, in mastering my tools, in preparation. Many a man who is putting a few pounds a week into his bus would do much better to put it into himself.” Henry Ford (mildly edited)
I like this one: “Opportunity is missed by most people, because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work.” - Thomas Edison
People invest a great deal of time finding and quoting (often inaccurately or out of context) spouty b0llocks that supposidly teach us a better way to live, that they either never come near actually living or never intend to. I blame Facebook and people with too much time on their hands. My favourite is aim for the Moon and if you fall short, you'll end up in the stars. This coming usually from someone that couldn't be arsed to get out of their dressing gown that day. And lacks a basic understanding of physics. My advice for such people, try aiming to get off the sofa more than once an hour and get the Mars bar out of your gob....the train as an astronaut build rocket bit is beyond your reach so stop setting goals you'll never reach and actually do the simple stuff.

Such as this? I admit that there's a lot of quotes on the internet that spout rubbish......but if some happen to mean something to someone, then there's no harm in them. The quotes I posted mean something to me. The woods are a place I go to recharge after a crap week at work. If you base your view on the world purely on internet quotes, then I can see you might have a problem.
