  1. I picked this t25 up today that had just been painted. I took a couple of photos under the rear wheel arches.

  3. I don't know. I picked it up from the painter and took it back to the bloke that did it. There is daylight all the way along, on the right wheel arch where it joins the side panel. I no nothing about t25's so not sure how the join..... the 4 or 5 welds pulled the side panel in so now its all warped.. it was shocking.

Fortunately, 10 mins with an angle grinder and you can have it all back to pieces and do it properly before it rots away...

Sort of like tack welded then forgotten..

Shame about the nail in the tyre on pic 1.

  7. Its a screw lol, I am sure the painter said he was in over £10k on the van so far... I nearly fell over.

  8. You can make out the wobble in the rear panel above the wheel arch.

Someone would have a nice job overseeing renovations, making sure each stage was done adequately where there are multiple professionals each doing their speciality. Customers generally don't know how to specify what needs doing at each stage.

And the slice from the angle grinder!
That's a real shame coz whichever way you look at it that's someone's pride and joy :(

Trouble is, when you start digging..

Just a few of the panels required and to be honest the bus didn't look too bad. Seam rash on these can indicate nastyness deep down

And just in the last month during round 2 a little seam rash on the b pillar low down on the wing revealed ...

There are very few people I'd trust to do quality work on our vehicles.
Our own @davidoft is one, although he's not responsible for the work pictured above this time round.

Lol… That’s even worse than my welding!

  20. It wasn't the paint bloke, it was someone else that did the welding and being paid for it, the painter got him to change the right, rear side panel as the other new one was battered, this one is now distorted ....
