Hey, Have a 2.0i Type 4 engine that i have removed from my van to sort out a major oil leak. After taken it apart and cleaning it i have decided to take it some where to get all the seals done etc, i done this last year myself and still leaks : I'm looking for someone that has a good under standing of these engines as i have been let down by a well known company recently and i'm very dubious of who i take it to Can anyone please point me in the right direction.I live in St neots Cambridgeshire, am willing to travel. If you're willing to stick it on a pallet, I can sort it for you Unless you fancy a drive up to the scottish borders
If you have the nous to take the engine out you certainly have the ability to replace the seals. Most leaks come from crankshaft (x2) and push rod tubes. Did you notice, before cleaning it, where the oil as leaking?
