  5. Can everyone just chill out!!

I'm new to the site and I don't come on here for people to moan. A few moans are good granted and it gets it out of your system. But blimey, after a day at work I like to read what people have been up to and have a bit of a laugh.

Life is far too serious and campers are there to make your life a bit more fun and less serious.

Please can we move on and cheer up.

  7. Well Okay..

This thread didnt start of as a moany thread as some people have assumed.

Following a silly thread about worst car drivers (fun) in which there were some racist remarks which resulted in the whole thread being hidden by moderator.

It's an attempt to work out a way in which racist and other negative behaviour can be challenged and discussed without simply painting over the rust (just comes back later)

Currently posts are sometimes edited or whole threads are removed or 'hidden'.

People have suggested ideas like 'removing offensive posts' to save the threads, giving warnings or heads up, moving post to a seperate mod free area which people can them choose to visit or not.

Funny thing is after following the discussion I find myself thinking 'leave it the way it is'.
If I come across any racist junk I'll challenge and report it. no point in a discussion on here, it's not the place. Shame to lose the threads but hey.

I wrote a long post for this site criticising the need for 'Help for Heroes' came out OK but I decided not to post, this isnt the place.

    Thanks for listening

  9. See, that's what I mean
I wrote 'criticising the need for Help for Heroes' I don't think soldiers, of which there are several in my family, should have to go cap in hand to a charity, they should be provided for..'
You automatically assumed something else. You didnt read it.
You've also made assumptions about who I am and where i work. I don't work at all right now for your imformation.
All of which illustrates why this isnt the place for debate and discussion..

  10. To be fair You are right and I jumped on the bandwagon! :-[ Sorry

I am still a little sore about the earlier threads and I was still smarting a little,.

I know it wont help but Sorry I got it a little wrong!

Sometimes it takes a bigger man to admit you got it wrong??

  11. Appreciate that..

I've learnt a lesson about the way things work on here from this thread which I what i was trying to say.

Wish originators of threads could lock of their own threads!
