  1. Recommendations please for a set of pans that work, last and don't take up a lot of space . Also - removable or folding handles, stacking or fit inside each other for storage, non stick, not made of toffee or cheese, bag or container or fit together.

  2. ones that match the colour of your bus....end.

  3. That wont work - its white!

  4. I managed to get a coleman set 1/2 price ,non stick ,they are perfect ,will have a look in a min

  5. Don't buy one of those squishy collapsible kettles they collapse when you try and pour the boiling water out.

  6. Im sorted for kettles. Mine gets used..... a lot!

  10. What you want is a Double Skillet from http://www.doubleskillet.com
We've had ours almost as long as we've had the bay.
Saucepan transforms into oven - shock horror!
You can do oven chips & all sorts.
Pricey I grant you, but it's practically indestructible.

  11. Its just two pans on top of each other ,wont a pan with a lid do the same thing?

  12. It won't be the same, what you do is wipe a bit of oil around both pans, bung them both on the hob till they are Very hoT - about to smoke,
then you bung oven chips in the bottom one & invert the other one on top.
Takes about 15 mins, keep turning both pans over to keep the heat as even as you can - think dutch oven but indoors without chucking coal on the top!

Mr Fish-trews talks sense. We've got a skillet, never go camping without it now. No idea how much they are cos ours were a Chrissy pressent. As for saucepans, we have a Kampa set with the fold around handles, very good but we only tend to use the biggest saucepan.

  18. Been mooching and the most sensible thing ive seen so far that fits the bill has Jamie Long-Tongues name all over it and isn't available any more. Need tall sided frying pan, large boiley pan for rice and pasta and the like and a smaller saucepan. think that's it tbh. Non-stick mess tins would be ideal for when its just me tbh!
