My father was from Aberdeen,his fav saying was Its a braw brict moonlict nict.think the spelling is close,he died ten years ago,still never told me what it ment ?

She also used to say of a morning "Get oot ya scratcher" which I believe roughly translates as "please be getting up out of your bed".
