good post thats why i have pushed here at cool air to drop the cotton over braided stuff (we have) in favour of the R9 stuff

there is also a fully biofuel proof hose available which i have looked into but would have to retail about £20 a metre

would you guys pay this for fuel line?

Hats off to Coolair for selling this stuff . Would be good if you could sell it as a kit with clips.

£20 a metre's pricey, but you don't need too much of the stuff.

My understanding of the high-alcohol stuff is that it'll be available, but you'll still be able to buy alternatives.

what would you call a kit?

2mtrs+ 8 clips??

If you wanted to go for a full-house kit, for a T1 I'd say
- 2m of 5.6mm R9
- 8 clips of the right type & size
- new fuel filter
- new grommet for where the metal pipe goes through the front tinware
- a couple of larger omega clips for where the pipe hangs over the transmission - new lines are too large for the original clips

Failing that, 2m & 8 clips, as you say

PS If you want to push the boat out, fuel cut-off valves would be a good idea. About the only place that seems to sell these now are Vehicle Wiring Products.

massive amount of clips and 3 different sized pipes on fuel injected busses, that said if coolair can do a kit that is good for a few years and won't degrade with modern fuel i'd pay for it, changed all mine in january wasn't gonna worry for another 12 months but wondering if i should now....

will look into it, but not quite yet as i am going on holiday shortly and i am on holiday mode
