i dunno about not seeing "another" but you certainly won't see many....it's been the butt of many jokes (pun intended) but as i've said before i wouldn't choose the colour either, the only reason i keep it that way is because it's original and rareish...... i would happily have a different colour.
Definately go to shows When I got my early tintop it was badly painted in a sort of mid blue colour , the Mplate said it was Niagra blue up to the gutters and white roof. I wasn't shure I like the colour scheme Then I saw this bus at volksworld This sort of made up my mind. While mines not an exact copy I'm really pleased with it I think the one colour up to the gutters with a contrasting roof and bumpers works well with tin tops.
Chris Dude Just be aware that if you paint your roof black to get some insulation under the roof lining otherwise it will become an oven in summer Ive been contemplating black roof and bumpers for my bus Mines a fiberglass pop top and ive no idea if it would hold up to the heat if i painted it black
IF your going the black route maybe you could cover it in solar panels kill 2 seaguls with one stone ) )
I wonder what temp a fiberglass pop top can tolerate before it starts warping or degrading? Looking forward to the after paint pics of your bus dude Theres loads of white roof white bumper busses out there it would be nice to see more variation on the theme
