Paint help needed!!

Hi guys I'm thinking a head a bit here but in the next 2 years I'm hoping to get my tintop painted.
I need your help views on deciding the best colour.
The original colour of the bus was sage green( this is not an option).
A PO painted it chianti red with a white top which I believe could be lotus white. Not a good paint job tbh
Now I have 3 options/ideas which are
1. Keep it red poss sealing wax red with a white top
2. Sealing wax red with a black top or just the roof.
3. Jaffa with a white top
I'm doing things arse backwards as its my daily drive so I'm sorting the inside first to make it more usable/ comfortable.
Any thoughts from you guys would be appreciated. Would have done a poll but I'm on tapatalk.

colour choice is a personal thing really, which only you can decide on

dont go for a colour just because some one else thinks is good, as its you who will have to live with it.

I like timeless colour combinations that suit VWs, so any colour combo originally done by VW no matter what year it was done in is a good starting point IMHO.

It is tough making the decision on colour

...........ask the Mrs what she thinks and go with that ;D ;D

You're not wrong Diddy, I won't pick a colour because more people say one more than another but I'm interested in what people think. For instance I've never seen a black roof on a bay but think it would look cool!

 

Pickles I almost bought a bright yellow crossover before mine but it's lovely shiny paint was hiding loads of filler lol

 

You could always try different colours using ur computer and pic of yr van, black might get hot in sunny england : and show the seagul marmite ) ) Once you see the colour you like you will know its for you!!

 

Cheers Barney, I know people say about black roofs hot van etc but let's face it we only get about 2 weeks of sun lol

Get yourself along to some shows this year. (Bristol show is beginning of June) take a camera and loads of pictures of as many buses as you can. Don't worry about having the same as some one else if it's what you like. You will then have something to reference and help you decide.
Choosing a colour is like choosing a wife, it may not be to everyone's taste but as long as you love it, that's all that matters.
And if you chose wrong, it will cost a fortune to change!

I went to a few shows, took loads of pics etc to get ideas

Have a look through the show us your ride section there are some mouth watering busses on there too

I finally settled on my paint choice (after getting permission from the Mrs who has the final say ;D)

i love my mango and it is a option...only used by good looking fast thinking interlectuals...
