We have an outwell awning and a permanent awning rail so this is what you need:- 1. as many figure of 8 tracks as necessary - we have three 2. http://www.driveaway-awnings.co.uk/products/Kador-Strip-6mm-to-6mm.html I think ours is 8mm just check the awning and figure of 8 size Anyway bit no. 2 goes between the awning rail and the figure of 8's when you want to move you pull this out. When you come back (having remembered to mark your position!) you park up and slid this bit back between the rail and the figure of 8's Hope.this helps
the outwell awning usually comes supplied with them clamps, mine did, i used the pole and clamps one time only, good luck not scratching the gutter.... figure 8 and correct angles on guy ropes is the way forward, my pole and clamps are chucked in the shed in the spare parts corner.
We use figure of eights with some of the rubber u strip underneath which really locks it on. Combined with using the guy ropes well have never had a problem in some pretty awful weather. Simon
as said fig 8 any caravan place, i got mine at dubfreeze, my clamps had rubber still not great..... as simon says above like i said fig 8 and correct guy angles is perfect.
