The Swagman images I've found all look different, whereas the few Sunliner pictures all have the same narrow looking profile with straight edges. Is your rack separate from the lift up part of the roof and does it have a lower flat section for a roof light??
N No. Sunliners are all moulded one piece, there have been some where the rack has been cut off. The other possible alternative is that it could be a TRAKKA roof, does it have metal clips inside to hold the roof in the down position?
I can't get to the van to check but from the photos I have the roof seems to be held down with nylon straps fed through cam buckles. Here's a couple more photos, there doesn't seem to be any sign of a front rack being cut off ? The original donor roof had a patch over the cab that seems to have been for a sun roof? But no sign of any front moulded rack?
Many thanks for your help TD, here's a 1977 Sunliner for sale Gumtree, this looks the most similar but without the front rack. It has the slim side profile and the scissor lift and the windows seem to be exactly the same. PS. This is better than working
Looks very much like a sopru without the roof vent - a friend of mine got the same. Clearly it seems not to be a sopru, but that's the closest guess
The profile does look similar to mine but without the vent. As far as I know mine is a Sopru. Actually I've just looked at my pictures and it has a squared off edge halfway along.
No, Sopru only did the one style. I'm going more for a Sunliner roof, mainly because of the look of it in the photo taken from slightly above.
I think you're right, one off Sunliner without the front rack. Hopefully not a prototype that they changed because it leaked
