yep thats a good 1 also when we want to seal ribbon we burn the edge but you don,t put it close just enough to feel the heat ;D
God I am such a failure. I can't answer any of the tech questions, and now having read this I also can't answer any wimmin's tech questions either. Meh.
there you go zed you didn't need me - am very glad i'm not the only person who can answer sewing questions that would be way too much responsibility. mrs fletch you are brilliant. you could turn over once and zig zag stitch the edges. bek
i had another thought i'm not sure what your machine is like and what stitch options you have but my machine (not my overlocker) also has an overlock stitch it doesn't cut just goes over the edge to seal the threads, you can do the same with a zig zag stitch but the overlock is neater. bek
