oil leak

  2. Ur dam right iv got spot lights on the drive with a list i pick 1 job a night and a whole bunch in the weekend !! Cheers for that advise I'd be screwd without all u guys on here helping I really would !!

  4. Helping the needy like me ! I was chatting to the wire today I think I'm gonna pop up to ur garage when it's running say thank u allso want my carbs setting up so she's running sweet !!

  8. Gods honest truth iv just finished watching this about 3/4 minutes ago dude !! Cheers for the help bud seems a ok job to be honest now iv pointed it all out ill post some pics when I do it !!

    Great stuff, if he can do it anyone can! Love the bit about the wierd thread pitch - it's a standard M5. lol

    The first tube - it wouldn't go in so he pretended it did. @1973daisey the reason it got stuck is because the shape of the head makes the seal bunch up at the top and jam - you have to tease it in to avoid nicking it. If you nick it, it WILL leak.

    The spring is "too stop the er ... er push rods from hyper-extending themselves" :lol:

  12. Notice I said watched not listened to it just helped me to see which way a big box of bits went back together.
    I put mine back together on a six week block of graveyard shifts. Starting no earlier than 10:30 pm about two or three nights a week. Knowing what I was doing was important because thinking about it at that time of night doesn't work. Glad I did it sweet engine no leaks plenty of miles in.
