I consider myself rightfully reprimanded for my cavalier attitude toward my vehicles I knew where the brake fluid was in the Devon but it's not there in this one. @Lord Congi do you know where it is on yours please? @davidoft whats the worst that can happen on the drive down to yours? Anything less than a crash I'm ok with, if more I will use another one of my fleet
Ps @art b thry are only best clothes to me, others may not recognise them as such . (Just cos I called you on your waiters outfit at eddies!!)
It really can't be hard to locate your brake fluid reservoir follow the pipes to where they enter van the seats might swivel but the frame surely is fixed? I think you're not looking in the right place, there's a large void under seat and a smaller one.... It should be in there
I thought that too! However, I have big thick swivel mechanism and lots of shag pile. I will look after work in daylight to follow pipes.
It's your steering box that's leaking It needs the seals replacing In the mean time undo the two screws holding the cover plate on at the bottom of the steering column and top it up via the red filler plug Your brake fluid reservoir looks like this And should be found here Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
So that's how you top up the steering box, would that account for excessive play in the steering wheel? Sent from my GT-I9195 using Tapatalk
Excessive play could be one of or a combination of a few things connected to the steering It could also be that your steering box needs adjusting or refurbishment. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Ok , is it possible to adjust the box or is it time for a new one Sent from my GT-I9195 using Tapatalk
Thank you v much @paradox I shall check steering fluid later. The brake fluid normal place is all carpeted
If the reservoir has been moved when the van was converted it may be behind the cab kick panels under the dash Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
