Nice to hear you're starting on the inside mate. Remember, mortise and tenons for the framework and dovetails for the drawers.
just doing something like before and all in beech from kitchen suppliers bought 4 beech doors 30 cm each just white inside but it is all still only chipboard same as a kitchen not all the fancy joints as i have no time for all that , i did like it before.
Not in for welding until 8th Mar. Going to pick up the wheels and bumpers tomorrow. The bloke rang and said the bumpers don't look very good because the powder coat didn't go on properly over the filler I'd put in the dents. Think is he phoned after he'd blasted it to say that a lot of the old filler had come out and did I want to pick them up and redo the filler. I said that I thought powder coat wouldn't go on top of filler but he said it wouldn't be a problem at all. So, it might get a bit tense tomorrow when I tell him I'm not paying for a sub standard job.
they are not double skin so you should of banged them out if poss ,as baysearcher said to me they look more better with the small dents , Are they in a area you can put a small sticker over .
Yeah they aren't actually too bad and I was quite prepared for him to blast them back to bare metal and powder coat them, dents and all. It was only because he told me they could powdercoat just as easily over filler that I collected them and filled them. I've just bought the deluxe black rubber bits that go around the bumpers so they will cover 90% of the dents anyway. We'll see what they look like tomorrow. I've got a driving test first thing but should be able to get there about 10ish.
mine look worse in pics they look quite good close up with plate on, well good luck picking them up wait and see i bet they are not to bad.
