My better half took a little persuding that the colour was okay!!

The orange is just a blow over but once flatted down it will be fine and I like the Vanagon wheel trims, they take the edge off it a bit (I think).

Next few days total clean inside and start putting in insulation ready for a build over the coming months. It will go down a few inches, chrome bumpers, re-cover all the cards etc, then we need to chose whether we have afull width or 3/4 bed.

Will update as I go along
    Cheers

  10. Very nice, I like the colours, keep the pics Coming :)

  11. It can't be 4 degrees out there and have spent 2 hours flatting back the roof with wet and dry! The guy or gal who blew the Jaffa over this knew how to make orange peel!!

Can't do any more, I can't feel my fingers so back to the garage to start on the Vanagon wheel trims!

  14. I'd started so I had to finish....flatting down the roof!
Had to take te tops off the orange peel - looks fairly good (going by the 10ft rule!!) Panels will need more time but pleased with this.

  17. Done a bit of cleaning of the engine bay and starting to flat the Jaffa panels. Pic of the steel Vanagon wheel trims, coming up well but the black pinstripes are coming off if I do too much, so just a clean and may then put a clear coat on them.

Have a list of bits needed at Telford tomorrow!

May have to slow down a bit however as found out I have a blood clot in leg so off to Hospital Monday, after injecting myself with blood thinners all weekend - really an interesting thing to have to do if never done it before.

Mind you I may have a bit of time on my hands to plan the interior!
