    My in-laws are in N Ireland - howling winds, 4ft snow drifts and no electricity for over 24 hours. Oh, and they're lambing sheep too :confused:

    my mom told stories of my grandad digging a tunnel from the back door to the coal shed - poetic licence i always thought, but then again i reckon it could be true i belive it was bad in 64?

    I remember going sledging with my dad on a sledge he knocked up in the garage. There was a lot of snow, but I was only little. :)

    in january 1982 i was stuck on the Droitwich to Kidderminster road and there were 27 ft high drifts against the hedgerows , it all fell in 6 hours , that night it was minus 26 locally to me - fact

    Most snow I remember was in 85... we had 12ft of snow in the drive, a 4ft wall of snow that was curved like a wave in-front of the front door, and school was shut for a week!!
