Para, I checked my route to Edale distance on some internet route planners and it was 160 miles. I brimmed it before I left and about 5 miles before I got there so 155 miles £35 of petrol at £1.40/litre = 25litres in 155 miles = 6.2 miles/litre If I could squeeze 65 litres into my early tank, 65 x 6.2 = 403 miles. On the way home I went 70mph on the clock (about 62 really) and didn't check, but the guage reads 3/4 when brimmed and still read 1/4 when I got back so very very approx half a tank. 1600s/p with Pict 31 carb and vac ONLY dizzy. It's a tintop with just me and some furniture and it flies along at 60 - didn't have my foot hard down once.
