My wife’s son said all the mountain bikers use that. Can’t remember what he said it was called though.
The Avon stuff came in two bottles one green and the other white it was the green one I think and yes the military used it. It's good for ticks as well. I've had far to many ticks now so I use dog flee and tick spray on my legs I've asked vets and a doctor about it and they have both given me funny look. The co2 also seeps from your feet and that's why flee bites tend to be on the lower legs. Don't get me started on horse flys/cleggs nasty winged buggers. I've been had by something this year on both arms big red spots that turn into painful yellow heads.
I’ve had a couple of unusual bites this year and I don’t think any of the members on here had anything to do with it . I’ve had two or possibly three bites at different times within a half an inch of my right elbow is if anyone can explain??? Tell me something is seeping out of my elbow crevices perhaps? Ozziedog ,,,,,,,,,what has suddenly become so tasty about my right elbow ?
Jungle formula. I spray it on, on this time of year, as Iwork a lot in the country. Lots of cows and horses around, so lots of horse flys. It stops them from biting you. You never know they bite, until you feel them ripping their jaws out, as they leave.
We have a mozzie net hanging at the sliding door. We use any repellant spray on our arms and legs early evening.
Another for the Skin so soft. Belts and braces approach involves a drop of two of citronella oil on your collar, citronella joss sticks, candles and lamp oil in the old hurricane lamp also. Little bastards will still get a good nibble, mind.
With the chemicals whizzing around my bloodstream at the moment anything that bites me will be dead at the first nibble
