Oh ok, as you obviously want to slog this out; where have I insulted you (apart from asking if you're 12).
I've answered every question you've asked in minute detail, and explained links where the author assumed the reader had a minuscule level of common sense, which still went over your head.
For example: link states "down is on", You ask "which way is off?".... Forgive me for thinking you're maybe taking the *******.

  3. :lol:is it possible to close this thread? i'm capable of doing that,
but on a serious note, do I have to replace all the brakes? can the items on the list not be repaired? I was under the impression they were repairable without replacing everything?

Yes - re brakes as you probably know people go to great expense to get them right and I don't blame them on our old heavy vans tbh, but if you are on a budget and trust the mechanic you can get them repaired.

It looked better before it posted to be fair.
Last answer (as I'm sure you'll ignore it anyway):
You don't necessarily need to replace all your brakes. None of us have seen it so its impossible to say. A decent garage should be able to service them and advise which parts to replace.

  10. If it is that out of balance the bus would have pulled to one side when braking...It will just be a seized caliper /flexi hose ,I would change rear cylinders ,all flexi hoses and any pipework that is corroded...[and rebuild both calipers]..

  11. Gentlemen....Can I remind you all that if we were in a field somewhere, looking at Wizard's bus, we wouldn't be having this conversation....there'd be lots of banter for sure, but the overall experience would be both helpful and positive....this thread reminds of the bad old days of Kamper Chat...

  14. I know it's frustrating, believe me my blood pressure is through the roof, some people are talking replace, others are talking rebuild and others are saying repair, I am looking at a quick fix for the ticket, the rebuild and replace can come at a later stage, so thank you for all your advice, the school bell just went, I have to go back inside now, i'll chat with you next playtime

You're right of course; we'd be asking how he got to said field with no MOT.
A lot of people have tried to be helpful; that does imply however that someone genuinely wants that help.
    ;)
