Speedy recovery to you sir. Incidentally that's the Hebrew letter for the "Cccchhh" sound on your chest, which is apt for a Welshman.
Love that scar got to have one like that myself soon got to have a heart valve replaced and they said it would be through the rib cage , Not sure when it's going to be done monitoring it at present, When it's done we will have to start the big scar club, Hope you are feeling a bit better know' Steve,
get well soon Moons. My father in law is currently (as i type) having cancerous lumps removed from his bladder in colchester hospital. just waiting for the call to confirm that he is out of surgery.
Barely a scratch, I've done worse sewing on a button. I'd have a word with that surgeon though, looks like he got lost !
update time, just had a text off the main man hopeful for discharge today around 2pm and can i collect him? so i of course said yes, will pass on your regards and maybe if he's feeling ok he will thank you all later.... it's a good job the F1 was on early or he'd be walking....... bang goes my afternoon nap (laying the guilt on him 'cos i didn't get his van)

Nice one rick tru buddy F1 highlights have been put on to replace east enders repeat today though ive heard
Whoop! I have returned! Sincere thank you for the kind messages and huge huge thank you to @rickyrooo1 for being a top top bloke, and top friend! @Tiny-Pie promise of a bed bath was happily looked forward to, even if the offer was firmly in my head only. Well, what can I say, the extreme measures I have taken to get a couple of gratuitous nip shots in has paid off at last, though the double chin quips hurt you bastards.....just as well that I am too smacked out of my tits on painkillers to care! Things I've learnt: There is extreme humanity on show in the thoracic high dependency unit at Leicester Glenfield Hospital - the bravery and niceness of people there far more ill than I was deeply humbling. The staff there were proof that with the right resources and time allowed we have nursing staff with world class dedication, skill, intelligence and care. Ive been to many an A&E ward and various others, this unit shows that dedicated resources like this really work. Appreciate that people have had bad experiences elsewhere, but I won't have a bad word said about these guys from the cleaners up to the consultants they were simply brilliant. As for me, well they opened me up and took a grapefruit sized tumour out that was resting on my heart, and growing down the side. It's non invasive and they got it all out, so biopsy will tell in a couple of weeks. The scar is very tidy considering the swelling. I was let home 4 days early, so the Pre op training and diet paid off. My prognosis looks good, and I'll be happy to return to the state of denial I have enjoyed for the last couple of months for now, so will be back to spouting arse again soon. Do I have any serious advice for anyone here, any pearls of wisdom? Not really, I've had a wake up call on the living rather than existing front.....the ramifications of that I'll have to susst out. Now, where did I leave the special Get Well Soon cake @rickyrooo1 made me, he said he'd used fresh eggs and had washed his hands and everything...
