What about a vegan confronted by someone clutching a pair of shoes?

 

So will those staff wear badges to indicate that they do not handle pork/alcohol? Would save much annoyance though of course the company may have a plan whereby they don't actualy need customers....

I remember a mutiny in India about pork fat used to keep gunpowder dry. I see no problem so long as the muslim staff are kept away from the alcohol and pork products. Basically its muck racking by anti muslims. Let us all live in peace

 

This just goes to show how *****ed up this country has got I can't take anyone who actually still believes in any religion seriously anyway

If the system that the company has can accomodate for the dos and donts of all its employees of all beliefs and still retain an acceptable level of service then this isnt an issue. I doubt that it can as I dont think died in the wool M+S shoppers are likely to be that tolerant.

i,m not overly religeous but hate being dictated too, a big company that i have worked for had this policy.. if your religeous beliefs or beliefs in general are not in line with what this company needs please leave and work elsewhere. cant get away with that now.
i don,t want or need my beliefs to force others to accept what i think so why do i have to bend over and kiss every other religous belief on the ar**

 

As a nation we bend so far to be inclusive that we exclude those that are bent double. IMO.
